Design shapes more than objects—it shapes ideas, systems, and the way we see the world. This workshop, is an invitation to explore how design can empower public imagination, influence policy, and contribute to the future of the European continent.
At the heart of this session is Continent of Play—a new blueprint in development that asks a fundamental question: how do we invest in the next generation when the world feels increasingly unstable? In times of uncertainty, war, and social fragmentation, the spaces we create for children reflect the values we hold as a society.
This blueprint explores how design can strengthen our social fabric, foster resilience, and provide a sense of belonging—ensuring that even in turbulent times, we are building towards a future that is more connected, secure, and hopeful. Participants won’t just discuss these ideas; they’ll actively shape them, contributing perspectives that will feed into 21st Europe’s work.
This event is part of Future Days 2025, a festival where creatives, systemic thinkers, purpose-driven organisations, and change-makers come together to envision an interconnected future between urban resilience, collective intelligence, and governance paradigms.
